Wagner Vineyards is one of the oldest and most recognized wineries in the Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York. Centrally located on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake, Wagner’s has been one of the region’s most popular wine tasting destinations since opening in 1979. First time wine tasters to connoisseurs are sure to find just the right wine at Wagner’s. We produce over 30 types: reds, whites and blushes crafted from 20 grape varieties, all grown by Wagner. We are especially recognized for our selection of Riesling wines – from fully dry to dessert sweet ice, Wagner’s award-winning Finger Lakes Rieslings are versatile & food-friendly.
The vineyards are a mix of well known grapes and some lesser known varieties that we have introduced to our wine list such as Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Lemberger, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Noiret, Dornfelder, Vincent, Riesling, Chardonay, Traminette, Gewurztraminer, Cayuga, Niagara, Catawba and Himrod, known and loved as Matinee. We also grow varieties exclusively for his juice customers such as Leon Millot, DeChaunac, Cascade, Concord, Aurora, Seyval, Valvin Muscat and Chancellor to name a few.
