Honig Vineyard & Winery
The Honig family donates wine to charity auctions all over the country, they host political and community events at their vineyard, and they are active in the sustainable farming movement. Today, with winemaker Kristin Belair, the family produces Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon, and Honig wines, which were once only available in one San Francisco restaurant, are now on the wine lists of hundreds of fine restaurants across the country. And Louis Honig's vision of bringing his family together to share in the beauty and bounty of Napa Valley, while producing outstanding wines, has become a reality.
Joseph Carr wines are produced at Larson Family Vineyards in Carneros, bordering both Napa and Sonoma counties. A beautiful property built over a hundred years ago by Tom Larson's grandfather; it is here where we crush, barrel ferment, blend, and age our wines. Tom owns over a hundred acres of vines in Northern California, as well as managing 500 hundred acres of some of the finest boutique vineyards in the valley. It is a place where we can be creative, laugh a lot, and work together to produce handcrafted wines, unhurried, in a state of the art facility.
The Hess Collection vineyards represent the diverse growing conditions seen in the Napa Valley. We grow grapes in both cool climates and hot. Our sites are gently sloped along the Bay to steep in the mountains. History has taught us what is best for our vines, and we learn how to better tend to our vineyards with each passing vintage. This has allowed us to develop site specific viticulture programs for each of our ranches. At the same time we've instituted a number of environmentally-friendly initiatives that keep us at the forefront of sustainable vineyard practices.
